Our client has a privately owned, free of tie inn with bedrooms, in Wiltshire, and are looking for a driven, energetic, creative, personable and ambitious couple who are looking to create a business that in effect, would be their own.

This is one of those opportunities that only crops up very rarely; a chance to develop something special with the added attraction of being left pretty much in control of the business and the running of the property.

One of the team they are seeking will be the chef whilst the other will run the front of house. The chef needs to have a proven and traceable track record, as they expect great things on the food front and are looking to raise the profile of the restaurant dining side of the inn. Between them they need to have the experience to run their own business, both in terms of hands-on operations as well as staffing, cost control, PR, sales & marketing and reporting.

The ideal applicants will probably have experience in the public house, restaurant or small hotel sector, have a proven track record of budget management together with the ability to attract staff, then recruit, train and manage them. Reporting directly to the owners and their advisers, the couple will however be given enough autonomy to shape the business accordingly.
