Superb opportunity for a diligent professional with commercial acumen and proven experience in finance planning and analysis, to join the busy Finance Team at Cogent supporting business growth in a varied role.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you’ll focus on FP&A and Strategic Projects supporting the Senior Management Team with analysis and reporting that provides critical information regarding trends within their functions to support business decision making. In addition, you’ll contribute to strategic projects through analysis of financials, whilst also providing on the ground support in newly acquired international businesses.

As an FP&A Manager your duties will be varied to include although not be limited to:

• Analysing business financials and preparing detailed forecasting reports
• Working closely with the CFO and Senior Management Team on strategic projects
• Identifying trends and opportunities from business performance
• Supporting the accountancy team with budgeting and forecasting

To be considered for this FP&A Manager role, you MUST have the following experience, qualifications, skills, and knowledge:

• CIMA or ACCA qualified with post qualification experience in financial analysis and reporting
• Good knowledge of ERP software
• Ability to understand key business drivers quickly and assess reporting requirements in line with these drivers
• Reliable, organised and diligent with strong work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• IT literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including modelling
• Full driving licence, and willing to travel globally on an occasional basis

Experience within manufacturing and/or inventory management is highly desired, although not essential.

Salary:                          Circa £40,000 per annum, level dependent on current experience and qualifications

Benefits:                       Annual leave entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays, pension and life insurance.

Contracted Hours:         37.5 hours per week

Hours of Work:             Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs, with a strong likelihood of international travel.
