A client is seeking an experienced and competent Food Technology teacher to take on a role at their Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Merton. The PRU is very well run and for the right person it could be a very rewarding position. The position begins in January and has the potential to last until July 2017.

Someone who has previously worked at a PRU is preferred as some mainstream teachers do not realise how tough the PRU environment really is. The successful candidate should have been teaching in the UK for at least 3 years.

They must also have very sound subject knowledge and be able to teach Food Technology to GCSE level. It would help if the teacher had exciting methods of teaching and the ability to engage the pupils. It would be beneficial if candidates were trained in Team-Teach, but not essential.
