An Administrative Assistant is required to join an architecture led, award winning, multidisciplinary practice based in Greenwich, London. Due to the on-going expansion of the practice, they are currently looking for a well organised and motivated individual to join their Administration Team.

As an administrative assistant you will be under the overall direction of their Office Manager, you will be based on reception. As this is a front of house role you will be the first to welcome any visitors.

You should have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, which are essential for the role as it will involve working across our diverse practice at all staff levels.

Person Specification

- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Good attention to detail and well organised
- Self-motivated and driven personality
- Positive, friendly attitude

Your main duties will include:

- Front reception desk (manned at all times)
- Answering Switchboard, taking messages and ensuring they are passed onto the correct person
- Aware of staff movements, holidays / sickness and send messages via e-mail.
- Welcome guests to premises and ensure they are dealt with in a friendly prompt manner.
- Administrative support to all teams within the Practice (typing/binding/booking meetings etc.)
- Managing meeting room bookings
- Ensuring meeting rooms are kept clean & tidy, including chairs in correct space.
- Buying sandwiches etc. for meetings as required
- Setting up monitors and other equipment
- Daily office checks (stationary, kitchen, print rooms)
