Support Worker Job in Corby

We are looking for professional, dedicated and experienced Support Workers to provide the highest quality of care to clients in the Corby area through our newly established Peterborough branch.

It is essential that you are as confident delivering personal care as you are enabling an individual to undertake the activities in life they desire. You should have a mindful approach of protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence at all times. You will be working on either a 1-1 basis or within a small team of Support Workers based in a residential or nursing home. 

In order to ensure you always have enough work, you should be willing to travel around the local surrounding areas. Due to rural client locations and shift times, public transport is not always readily available, therefore access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not essential.

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a support worker role in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care highly preferable.
