Pastoral Co-ordinator (PASCO)

Permanent, term time

Job ref: PASCO - 16/17

Actual salary: £21,704 - £24,072 pa (pro rata of full time on LG Band 6, Points 23-26)

This role is available from January 2017

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with experience of working with young people. Your role will be to support the learning and progress of all students in an assigned year group, liaising with staff, families and outside agencies as appropriate.  

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal authoritatively and sensitively with young people experiencing barriers to achievement.

Hours of work: 39 weeks per year over 38 weeks per year + further 18 hours for 3 Professional Learning Days.

Monday to Thursday - 8 am to 4:30 pm (with ½ lunch)

Friday - 8 am to 3:30 pm (with ½ lunch)

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
