Social Care Officer (Fixed Term until 31 March 2018) (PKC02511) 
£10,209 - £11,522 (20 Hours per week)
Parkdale Care Home, Auchterarder

Parkdale Care Home is a service for older people providing permanent and respite care placements.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver high standards of care and support to service users.

You will work during peak periods, working 4 x 5hr shifts per week. This will include evenings and working weekends on a rotational basis.

The Individual

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver high standards of care and support to service users, working closely with their carers and other professionals to achieve desired personal outcomes.

The successful candidates will have effective communication skills and appreciate the needs, wishes and aspirations of older people and how best to support them and their carer’s in the Care Home setting.

You will be required to register with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home service, therefore an SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
