Full Time Position
Hours of work 8.30am-4.30pm Monday - Friday
My client are a successful SME and a market leader in their sector, due to continued growth they are looking to appoint an experienced accounts person to join their small lively team in Lancaster.
Key Responsibilities, not limited to:
??Maintain Sales & Purchase Ledgers & associated control accounts
??Bank reconciliations
??Cash Flow forecasting
??Credit Control
??VAT Returns
??Accruals & Prepayments
??Production Of accounts to trial balance stage
??Job Costing & GP analysis by contract
Essential Skills
??Working knowledge of Sage Line 50
??Well organised
??Effective Time Management
??Adaptable & flexible approach, able to work unsupervised
??Highly numerate
??Strong attention to detail
??Good oral & written communication Skills
??Ability to work in a team
??Good telephone manner
??Excellent keyboard & I.T. Skills
??Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel
Experience within the construction industry would be an advantage, though not essential
