We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Product Coordinator to join our busy Pharmaceutical Supplier and Product Management team in Stanley Green, Wilmslow. Within this role you will be responsible for your own suppliers and be responsible for your own portfolio, ensuring that products are available for sale, pricing is correct, and that all relevant information is up to date to guarantee that we drive profitable sales.
Product Coordinator Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
You will be able to act on your own initiative and demonstrate a pro-active approach to maintaining effective supplier relationships and product information.
You will be responsible for the preparation of annual targets and budgets, information that is used to measure and review our performance. You will negotiate with our suppliers to secure the right prices and terms for purchase of products as well as controlling selling prices to maximise our gross margins. You will be working closely with the sales team to ensure we maximise all our opportunities.
There will also be elements of regulatory administration duties attached to this role for compliance purposes.
You will set up, monitor and update selling schedules for products. You will need to liaise with our stock controllers to decide forecasts and stock levels. It will be your responsibility to deal with aged stock and implement the changes needed to drive continuous improvement.
We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this role you will have excellent rapport building skills and be a confident communicator, especially with negotiation and influencing of others. A background knowledge of the pharmaceutical supply industry would be an advantage.
We are looking for you to be commercially and technically minded with good experience of data manipulation and highly numerate. The successful applicant will be an organised, disciplined self-starter with a desire to succeed and develop.
