Investment Portfolio Manager, London, GBP50,000 OTE
An established organisation specialising in the sale of high value collectables are looking for an Investment Portfolio Manager to join their professional and expert team, reporting directly into the Director of Investments. In return you will receive a generous benefits package, inclusive of a basic salary of GBP28,500 plus uncapped commission, with potential to earn GBP100,000 inclusive of commission. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team with a positive office atmosphere, not to mention an interesting and diverse place to work.
The role of Investment Portfolio Manager will be to manage the investment into rare stamps and coins, working closely with the investment marketing team. Your main duty as Investment Portfolio Manager is to follow up on leads via email, telephone and face to face. You will be dealing with investors generally with around GBP20,000 to invest into something new and different. You will also "work smart" and be able to plan and manage your time to be as efficient as possible. You will use your questioning and listening skills to work out exactly what the client is looking for, rather than "selling" to them.
For this unique opportunity the successful candidate will be articulate, have a high level of literacy and be an absolute self-starter. You must have a background in sales but the culture and personality must be a "non- typical" sales person but have exceptional closing skills. You would need to be a self-starter, and treat the business as your own. You would also need experience in sales, with telesales and face to face negotiation a portion of the role.
