As the Audit / Accounts Senior, you will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders, providing outstanding levels of service at all times. Your workload will be split 20% Audit and 80% Accounts, which will include Corporation and Business Tax.

Your responsibilities and duties will include, although not be limited to;

• Leading audits, from planning through to completion
• Producing and finalising accounts
• Preparing corporate tax computations and returns
• Managing your own portfolio
• Liaising with clients
• Coaching and reviewing the work of less experienced members of the team

To be considered for the Audit / Accounts Senior role, you MUST have the following experience, qualifications, skills, knowledge and attributes;

• Proven experience as an Accountant within a practice environment, and be  ACA / ACCA qualified or part qualified
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Capability to handle multiple and diverse projects simultaneously

Knowledge of IRIS and ProAudit system would be advantageous, although not essential.

In return as the successfully appointed Audit / Accounts Senior you’ll be part of a well-established, growing business and receive:

Salary:                          £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on level of experience

Additional benefits:       Company pension scheme after probationary period and annual leave entitlement starting at 20 days plus bank holidays for the first year, rising to 25 days plus bank holidays for every year after

Hours of Work:             35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs.
