Key Account Merchandiser – Home Textiles

As Key Account Merchandiser/Stock Controller reporting to our Sales Office Manager office-based but making some customer visits, you’ll be responsible for monthly stock control from spreadsheets, ensuring 100% accuracy, whilst providing main stock control with forecasts and trends. Placing customer-specific orders and helping develop the business, you’ll play a key role in customer liaison to ensure we maintain optimum customer service levels, liaising closely with Quality to head-off potential issues on new lines. Other key accountabilities include:
• helping Sales Managers with product development
• reviewing lead times
• controlling/updating critical path development
• briefing photographers.
You must have a proven track record managing critical paths, underpinned by an inquisitive, analytical mind and strong communication skills. Able to work co-operatively with different departments and with well-developed customer-facing skills, you’re able to prioritise and work to deadlines in a busy environment. Your excellent Excel/spreadsheet and stock reporting skills complement a good eye for detail and a pro-active approach, in addition to:
