Position: Social Content and Marketing Manager
Location: York
Salary: £30000 - £40000 per annum + Package

The company client is a leader in their chosen field and they are now rapidly expanding. They are seeking to recruit a Social Content and Marketing Manager to join their team based in York. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the social media strategy and delivery and will also take part in the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns for the business. The employer is looking for someone who can bring innovative ideas to the business whilst ensuring that all projects and deliverables are executed effectively, efficiently and on budget.
Main duties for this role will cover:
* As the Social Content and Marketing Manager, you will create the strategy for the social media direction in the team and advise management on best practice.
* Identify and activate opportunities to drive greater value through owned and prepaid media channels through strong use of content
* Create strong working partnership with Marketing Communications and Media Relations teams to ensure content created by that team is (where appropriate) being deployed effectively through B2B communications
* Day to day management of staff; including providing support and guidance on creative ideas and execution
* Problem solving - deliver new ways of working and processes, being confident in challenging the status quo.
Major duties for this role will involve:
* As the Social Content and Marketing Manager, you will have significant experience creating a Social Media strategy and seeing this through to delivery is essential;
* Strong planning skills with experience of developing and delivering annual marketing plans and budgets
* Experience in Digital, Content and Social
* Experienced in B2C and/or B2B marketing, preferably with a direct marketing background
* Ability to manage and deliver multiple complex projects within tight timescales
