The Role

The Trust is looking for an enthusiastic Neighbourhood Servicing Operative to join their busy team.

Working as part of their Neighbourhood Servicing Team, you'll be working to provide high quality cleaning and maintenance of internal and external communal spaces around their customers’ homes. You’ll ensure that all the neighbourhoods in your patch have an up to date health and safety check completed and their promise to their customers delivered at each visit.

You will ensure that effective relationships are maintained with customers, working with the wider team you will also report and assist the Housing Officers to resolve neighbourhood issues.

You will also work alongside other internal and external contractors where required, providing assistance and supporting two-person visits. You will be required to undertake ad hoc handyperson tasks such as changing light bulbs and fitting door handles.

You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, clearing and cleaning and an awareness and understanding of relevant health and safety regulations. You'll have experience and knowledge of the use of cleaning equipment, be organised and have a can do attitude and hold a full, clean driving licence

Knowledge of COSHH law and experience of using mobile devices, such a tablet, is beneficial.
