The Company:
Our client is a highly successful international company manufacturing and distributing their products worldwide.

Main duties:
To manage and develop relationship with existing clients in order to maintain and grow the current portfolio across 9 European countries.

The Role:
- To maintain and manage a current portfolio of existing clients and distributors/stockists
- To create and implement regular visit to retailers and distributors
- To work in partnerships with distributors to support sales development
- To manage a promotional budget and margin costs across the portfolio
- To ensure excellent customer service
- To find solutions for issues from client side
- To gain a good knowledge of the products and promote them to clients

- To conduct market research and analysis
- To identify new business opportunities and convert prospects and leads into sales
- To attend monthly/quarterly meetings in the UK HQ

The Candidate:
- Fluent in French and English (written & spoken) is essential
- Business proficiency or fluent in German would be a strong advantage

- Proven experience in B2B or field sales within a retail/FMCG environment
- Ability to demonstrate and negotiate complex deals at senior levels
- Self-starter with a strategic and entrepreneurial mind set
- Commercial acumen with a focus for profit and understanding of costs impact
- Experience in dealing with client and distributors/stockists directly (presentations, product knowledge)

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills at C-level (Networking)
- Interest or experience in the FMCG industry is an advantage
- Flexible as extensive travelling will be required( 50%)
- Must be Drivers licence & Passport holder
- IT literate
