Joining our client as a Data Manager on a 6 month fixed term contract, you will lead the delivery of a data management framework across all aspects of the organisation’s ICT systems.

Setting the strategy and vision for the organisation’s data capture and quality, you will also be responsible for setting the strategy for the integration of data into all key ICT systems and applications in order to provide a 360 degree view of customer profiles to all business functions. 

Reviewing the business functions and services that require data capture, data usage and integration of IT systems for an optimum data flow and view which supports efficient query handling, you must analyse and understand functional and operational requirements of various departmental data sets; combining the results to provide a holistic and common set(s) of data across the business.  You will create policies and SOP’s which cover data convention, editorial and data policing mechanisms, define and document technical requirements and select and utilise the best available tools to develop solutions.

With a CDMP qualification at Practitioner level and demonstrable experience of providing data strategies and data cleansing plans, you will have a background of driving efficiencies from improved usage and integration of data and a big data approach to data capture and business usage.  Experience of data reporting requirements for business including business management information and business intelligence is also essential.  You must have an understanding of data standards and guidelines for business, ISO 8000 standard for data quality and knowledge of current technical solutions for mixed IT environments.
