I am looking for a bank of cover supervisors to work with one school in Bradford. The school will cover their day to day lessons with cover supervisors only unless it is a practical subject such as PE and DT due to health and safety. This means that on a day to day basis (how ever many days you are free) we will contact you for work and ask you to go to the school to work as a cover supervisor for the day. You will be required to cover all lessons (all subjects) throughout the day and this will be from 8.30-3.00, you may also be required to work part days i.e. morning or afternoons.

The school are looking for people who is a larger than life personality, confident, enjoys working with children and someone who possess strong behaviour management. The ideal person will have experience of working as a cover supervisor in a school however if you have experience of working in a similar setting or have lead sessions, work shops, sports coach etc then you may have the right skills and attributes we are looking for. This is a great first step into building experience in to becoming a teacher.

These are the main responsibilities

*Supervising work that has been set in accordance with the school policy
*Managing the behaviour of pupils in the class
*Responding to any questions from pupils about process and procedures
*Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the schools policies and procedures
*Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher
*Reporting back as appropriate using the schools agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising
