Are you a Science teacher looking for work?

A Bradford based school graded "good" in its most recent Ofsted are looking for a Science teacher to start immediately up until at least Christmas however this could be ongoing. This is a full time position on a temporary basis until a staff member returns. The teacher who covers this post will be expected to integrate fully into the department and will take on all aspects of teaching including planning, marking, attending meetings, parents evenings and any extra curricular activities. The teacher will be responsible for KS3, GCSE general Science. Experience in all three Sciences to KS3/4 is a must. The school are looking for someone to start immediately.

They have been open as a new school since September 2007 and have quickly established you would expect; there is an orderly and purposeful atmosphere within the students are smart; their daily routines are working well and there is a palpable excitement and engagement in lessons. Staff have worked really hard to achieve this. It is a major enterprise to establish their standards and expectations and get the basics right alongside the wider ambitions to transform the learning and achievements of the learners. In January 2013 the school had a full Section 5 Ofsted Inspection and were delighted to be judged as a good school with outstanding.

The ideal candidate will need to be genuine and able to talk about they would bring to the school and how they would contribute to the team in order provide learners with high quality support. They are seeking people who can do as well as talk with a proven track record of effectiveness based on a thorough understanding an knowledge of why it has been successful. The person who gets a buzz from seeing how theory actually works in practice.
