DEPARTMENT: Kitchen
REPORTS TO: Head Chef
WORKING HOURS: Your working hours will be minimum 40 hours and up to 48 hours. Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays will form part of your normal working arrangements
THE ROLE
As a Kitchen Porter, you are responsible for maintain the kitchen standards of cleanliness to the highest standard, a kitchen porter would also be required to conform to all of the businesses processes and procedures in order to keep the kitchen to the highest standards of cleanliness. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
Maintain the kitchen to a high standards of cleanliness
Efficiently manage your time in order to complete all of your daily tasks
Keep all of the checklists up to date and maintain them to high level of detail
Deep clean the kitchen weekly ensuring all of the fridges and areas within the kitchen are spotless at all times
Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
Comply with sussex village pubs security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation
Awareness Sussex village pubs brand ambitions and values
Be environmentally aware
