A Customer Service Agent is required to join an online logistics and warehousing service provider and experience in this industry would be an advantage. They provide support and services for established clients based in both UK and Worldwide. During the last 10 years they have developed a unique online portal which they are now using to build a service network.
They require someone with strong customer service skills and experience communicating via telephone and email. Their successful applicant would have an understanding and experience using Microsoft Office word and excel products and be familiar with internet browsers.
You will need the ability to work under pressure and perform to strict deadlines. Good organisational skills and effective time management is a necessity. It would be useful to have good keyboard skills and a quick type speed.
The successful applicant will be working within a well established team so ability to work alongside people is very important. However there will also be times where you will be working alone and must be self-motivated.
Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude are essential to this role.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor delivery agents performance
- Manage delivery agents day to day to ensure successful delivery of consignments
- Monitor special deliveries/collections and fulfillment of special instructions
- Produce KPI reports for clients
- Build relationship with customers and manage their accounts on day to day basis
Key Requirements:
- Customer services experience in logistics
- Experience using other logistics operators and their software
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package and especially Excel
You will receive benefits including 20 days paid holiday, do not work public holidays, overtime available and company bonus scheme.
Hours of Work: Mon - Fri 0930 - 1830 or 1030 - 19330
