The Position:

They now have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Tour Manager Administrator to join their team who will have the opportunity to work in an award winning and highly customer centric business in the heart of York's city centre. Reporting to the Head of Tour Management, some of the activities that you will be responsible for include:

- Writing and producing tour briefing documents known as 'TM Guides'
- Producing a step by step guide on how to deliver a tour
- Liaising with internal departments to ascertain up to date information for each TM Guide
- Read and disseminate tour reports, extract reliant information and place into TM Guides
- Assisting with the preparation, design, development and presentation of new workshops and annual conference
- Producing weekly and monthly statistics for the TM Manager
- Assisting the TM Manager with the production of management reports
- Maintaining the in house website, updating and uploading documents, clearing out old documents and monitor its usage
- Coordinating visa applications for Tour Managers
- Act as day-to-day office contact for the Tour Manager team and provide any ad hoc administrative support as required
- Managing enquiries from internal and external customers and action shared Inbox on a daily basis
- Organising and booking trips for the team to visit Tour Managers on tour

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

- Must be a methodical worker with an attention to detail
- Proven experience of working in a customer focused environment ideally in the travel industry
- Strong interest in travel with excellent geographical knowledge
- An assertive, problem solver with high level of attention to detail and developed numerical skills/analytical capability
- Strong organisations skills coupled with the proven ability to meet deadlines
- Confident self-starter
- A professional and clear telephone manner
- Working knowledge and practical application of that knowledge on Microsoft Office
- Capable of following written and verbal instructions and possess a clear and concise approach in verbal and written communication
- Willing to work extra hours during busy periods
