The Role:
Key priorities of the role:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers and other members of the team
- Support the transport Team Manager in delivering the day to day operation
- Track vehicles including use of Isotrak, update trackers and liaise with customers and internal stakeholders
- Build relationships with customers and other Company depots to facilitate the collection of information and paperwork
- Operational holiday, sickness and training cover
- Key point of contact within the transport department (and other departments as necessary)
- Maintain supplier compliance across contracts
The Candidate:
- The ability to communicate well with those around you
- Strong IT skills, working with IT systems and Excel
- Focus and dedication to quality service at all times
- Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise where needed
- Be able to work well within a team
- Fast track promotion opportunities for the right candidate
The Package:
- Based on 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts
- Salary of over £20,000
- Premiums for night work (+£1.00 per hour)
