Do you want to make a difference to people’s lives?

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role?

Our client is a value driven charity working across Norfolk and Suffolk giving help and hope through programmes with adults, young people and communities affected by drugs and alcohol. They have a vision to reach every part of the community in the most creative, effective and efficient ways. Through their varied services, young people and adults receive professional advice, information, counselling, support, care and education.

They are looking for an experienced worker to provide support to adults affected by substance misuse. You will work with individuals, managing a caseload, and completing care plans within a multi-agency team; undertaking assessments and providing information, advice and needle exchange to substance users.

You will hold a caseload of around 50 clients which will include complex and challenging people with multiple needs including mental health issues. Experience of working with this client group in a substance misuse setting is desired.

The office base for this post is Thetford but will cover a wider geographical area across South Norfolk comprising Thetford, Watton, Dereham, Wymondham, Attleborough and surrounding areas. You will join a charity that has a Christian ethos and you will share our client’s focus on their mission, values, clients and colleagues with a strong team spirit. They offer a rewarding, challenging role with their commitment to well-being and development.
