This successful web design/development agency based in Dartford, Kent is looking for an experienced business to business telemarketer to join their expanding marketing and account management team for this newly created part-time role.

Tasked with helping to grow their client base in the education sector, the successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate a track record in telemarketing and sales; ideally in the area of web design and development. This position is a home-working role - so hours will be to suit the perfect candidate. There could be occasions when you will need to come into their office but this is not essential.

Working mainly in their education market sector, your core responsibilities will be:

- Generating new leads
- Contact businesses by telephone to promote their products and services
- Conduct customer and marketing surveys
- Securing meetings for the sales team - these will be scheduled by the office manager
- Recording all calls and client information on sales database

With briefings provided in-house you will be able to cold call potential clients, describing the products the company has to offer and give advice as to how these products may be of benefit to their business. Outgoing calls will be based on a sales script but you will be expected to work with the sales team/office manager to make amendments to the script as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales call. You will have only a short time to build rapport with potential customers, therefore an excellent phone manner is essential to the role.

You will be required to gather and document information about the customer, liaise with the the sales team/office manager to arrange client meetings and record key data concerning follow-up calls. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work will also be essential to the role. Whilst the role is mainly dealing with the Education sector, work could also be extended to marketing their services to other sectors as required during the quieter school holiday periods.

Hours of working: Flexible, ideally 3 days a week initially. Salary neg.
