Part of the fast growing FTSE 100 international and outsourcing group, they offer a range of traditional and bespoke supply chain solutions to meet their customers’ requirements in today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment.

Providing integral support to the South West Business Development Manager across a broad spectrum of strategic and transactional customers, the successful Sales Support Advisor will liaise and manage correspondence between the BDM and her customers; issuing quotes, tracking new business and collaborating with internal colleagues and suppliers to ensure data integrity.

Assisting the Business Development Manager in addressing cost, price and range management issues, you will provide administrative and technical support for all existing accounts and designated prospect accounts and support with the capturing of market intelligence; relaying this information to the BDM.

Customer focused, you must ensure that their service and product knowledge exceed those of any competitors whilst working with the contracts team to ensure customer price agreements are maintained and accurate, including customer alignment, overall margin management, price increase management, price support management (rebates), code changes, UOM issues.

Capable of monitoring and managing your own time to ensure daily objectives are met, you must show a genuine interest in (and makes sure that) the needs of the customers are met in a way that benefits both the customers and the organisation. With good computer literacy skills, in particular Excel, you must have strong communication skills and be willing to work flexibly within the role.
