TEACHER OF ENGINEERING 0.4 FTE

The Henley College is a highly popular and successful Sixth Form College in the heart of the Thames Valley. We are looking to appoint a part time teacher to deliver part of the BTEC Level 3 Engineering course, The successful candidate will hold a degree in Engineering and a teaching qualification. Experience of teaching to 16-19 year olds on BTEC courses would be advantageous. This role requires someone who is a strong team player, dedicated to student success. Is flexible, innovative and demonstrates a caring and professional approach. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills. 

Initially teaching is likely to include the fallowing Level 3 units of study: 

Manufacturing Planning
Health & Safety
Business Operations 

The role includes planning, delivery and assessment of learner work in accordance with BTEC specification requirements. Some resources are already available to help with this.

The salary will be on the Sixth Form Colleges' Main Teachers' Pay Spine up to £37,984 per annum, (pro rata for Part Time Teachers).
