The Boundary, based in Broadmeadows, Alfreton, is conveniently located within five minutes of Junction 28 of the M1 and 13 miles from Derby City Centre, the pub is also situated in the middle of the beautiful Peak District. This is a traditional pub with separate hotel accommodation of 13 high quality rooms. The pub also has a large function room, which can cater for up to 130 people, as well as a smaller room for 12 people.
The pub is community based, and it has a loyal troop of local regulars. Families from the area also use the pub. There is a large garden area outside, along with a children's play area providing opportunity to boost sales during the summer months.
Average weekly net sales: GBP21,500
Wet/ dry split: 65/35
Average number of meals served per week: 1000

We are looking for a General Manager or Management couple with successful experience in a similar taking site, ideally able to demonstrate a track record with community-based pubs. Hotel & function experience not essential, but is desirable.

As an experienced Manager you will know the ins and outs of managing a branded business: from stock control to driving sales you will be at the top of your game. You won't necessarily need to know how to tap a cask or run a kitchen, we can help with those skills but you will be able to motivate and inspire your team to deliver unbeatable customer service. Confidence and personality are crucial in our pubs!
