Job Description Logistics Consultant

Working as part of a team in a successful independent recruitment agency

Driving Desk;

• Develop, and run an existing, very well developed desk.
• Maintain the Candidate & Client base.
• Proactively call Prospective Clients to generate new business
• Build long lasting partnerships with new & existing clients via day to day communication and client visits
• Negotiate rates
• Recruit, interview, reference new Candidates and develop relationships
• DVLA check new Candidates and maintain ongoing checks (six monthly) on existing workforce
• Identify candidate training requirements
• Complete and maintain day-to-day bookings
• Up-date accurately day running book
• Complete in a timely manner total payroll process
• Undertake effective client visits
• Correct reporting to Senior Management through strong proven lines of communication

Logistics Services Desk;

• Develop new client data base
• Negotiate Rates
• Attract and maintain subcontract supply chain
• Pre-qualify new sub-contractors
• Up-date accurately day job sheet

• Instruct direct labour on a daily basis
• Invoicing/POD collation
• Correct reporting to Senior Management through strong proven lines of communication
