As the Trainee Business Manager/Finance Assistant you will assist their Business Manager and the Sales team in the preparation and implementation of funding solutions for purchasers of both new and used cars, whilst adhering to FCA regulations. You will liaise with customers face to face, over the telephone and via email, input data and liaise with funding providers, maintain accurate records and assist in the preparation and reconciliation of month end accounts.
Candidates will need to demonstrate an outstanding ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and suppliers.
In this entry level position, you will learn finance and administrative processes within the business, growing to become an ever more effective member of the team. For a candidate with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, this represents an excellent opportunity for career progression and training, within a forward-thinking and growing business.
You will have a good standard of secondary education or equivalent; including a good level of numeracy and literacy, demonstrated by a minimum of two A-Levels and GCSE grades B or above (or equivalent qualifications) in Mathematics and English . This role would also suit a recent college leaver or graduate. Higher grades or qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Working hours are 42.5 hours per week over Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.00pm.
