This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding independent MOT & Service Centre in Birkenhead. Established since 1991 and recently refitted with state of the art facilities - they pride themselves on impeccable standards and an excellent reputation.
Due to an increased workload and demand, they are looking for a fully competent experienced mechanic / motor vehicle technician. With an expected salary range from GBP19,500 to GBP23,000 depending on skills and experience.
The candidate should be hard working, reliable and be able to work on their initiative or take direction within a team. MOT Qualification desirable, but not essential. This role would suit a time served mechanic as we are not looking for an apprentice.
Duties will include;
- to carry out a full range of mechanical repairs and servicing on all makes and models of cars including classic and prestige
- to undertake vehicle diagnostics using modern equipment and/or using your own fault finding skills
- possess their own tools
- hold a full driving licence
