Position: Supply Chain Implementation Manager - Interim
Location: London
Salary: £250 - £300 per day

The company client is a well established household manufacturing business who are currently looking to recruit an accomplished Supply Chain and Logistics Implementation Manager on an interim basis for their vibrant business now rapidly expanding. This is an all-encompassing role which will lead the RFP process and daily contact with the UK and Far East 3PL providers.

Major duties for this job will involve:

* Ensuring the UK warehouse works effectively through peak period and to the KPI.
* Design and manage project plan to transition UK warehousing and global freight forwarding to new contractor on-time and within budget.
* Financial and operational control
* Review, approve and code all warehouse and logistics invoices from supply chain partners
* Monitor existing KPI's to ensure the warehouse partner is performing to agreed standards
* Monitor and control warehouse costs, championing operational improvements to Sales and Customer Service to Reduce cost
* Day to day warehouse management
* Liaise with warehouse and logistics partners and where necessary train and educate
* New Contractor Implementation
* Design, agree, manage and implement project plan to transition UK warehouse & global freight forwarding to new contractor to agreed timeline and budget:
* Transition of physical stock
* Monitoring and reporting transition budget versus actual
* Agree Data transmission templates, timings and data mapping
* Engage internal stakeholder group to ensure scope meets business needs
* Agree suite of SLA's and KPI's and sign-off internally. Agree with contractor report formats and frequency of distribution
* In conjunction with new contractor, compile Supplier Delivery Manual to ensure efficient operations and communication to vendor base

Qualifications and skill set required:

* Degree Educated or equivalent
* Experience of transitioning complex multi-channel business to new warehouse provider
* A strong understanding of Manufacturing/FMCG supply chain with at least 5 years+ FMCG supply chain experience
* Sound understanding of international trade and EU supply chain
* Experience of Microsoft Navision is advantageous
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* Experience of an ERP implementation/upgrade
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Experience of quality control
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
