This Social Enterprise provides a range of diverse cultural, sporting and physical activities throughout East Devon and South Somerset in the sectors of indoor and outdoor sports, swimming, exercise and health, children's play schemes, educational programmes, sporting and cultural events and the performing arts.

They are seeking an additional IT Assistant to support their dynamic and lively team, with a passion for the leisure industry and ICT systems. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of responsibilities including acting as the front line contact for their helpdesk, logging and resolving ICT problems, providing ICT support to computer users, setting up and installing hardware and software, system monitoring and working with their suppliers to ensure that the ICT service and vendors meet service level agreement targets.

The enterprise uses modern cloud technologies and is a growing organisation working across the East Devon and South Somerset District sites in a highly customer orientated environment. They are looking for an individual that can successfully work in this busy environment with excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and prioritise, and with relevant technical knowledge and skills. Travel between locations will be required, therefore you must have access to transport.

Working hours will 37 per week, to include out of hours support as necessary during the hours of their core operation.

- Educated to 'A' Level standard
- A passion for IT
- High level IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and a helpful diplomatic manner
- Commitment to customer service
- Must be an enthusiastic team player and be able to work with other colleagues in a dynamic working environment
- Able to diagnose/troubleshoot problems in a systematic way
- Organisational and time management skills
- Able to prioritise and manage own workload
- A willingness to learn and 'can do' attitude
- A willingness to work out of hours as rota'd, to ensure effective support to their operations.
- Own transport (enabling travel to other centres as required)

Desirable attributes
- Understanding of and enthusiasm for the leisure industry
- Advanced use of Windows and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience of Windows Server Management
- Experience of working in an IT Service Desk environment
- IT qualifications
