We are looking for an Administration Officer with some Sales and Marketing duties to join our clients award-winning cake design studio. You will be working in a friendly and creative environment. They are a small but fast growing company, and there will be prospects for career advancement for the right candidate.

You will be providing an essential role in the smooth running of the business, working closely with the management on marketing duties, and ensuring all administration is carried out effectively. You will be friendly and positive, with the ability to take initiative and work well in a small team. You will be able to multi-task, prioritise and manage your own time, with excellent attention to detail. You will have an excellent manner dealing with customers, and able to deal with clients ordering highly bespoke products, with discretion and confidence.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Customer enquiries & sales
- Scope for some customer facing duties, including consultations & tastings
- Generating invoices and receipts using Quickbooks
- Managing deliveries
- Managing orders
- Editing & sending out photos to press
- Mail shots & copy for marketing literature
- Posting on social media
- Updating the website
- Ordering supplies
- Day-to-day administration duties as required

- 2 years in a similar role
- Office administration experience
- Excellent organisation & time management skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Strong customer service skills
- Confidence in writing marketing copy
- Microsoft Word and Excel

- Experience working with a food company
- Some experience in marketing & social media management
- Quickbooks
- Lightroom & Photoshop
- Basic photography

Minimum qualifications:
- Graduate BA or BSC

If successful at the interview, you will be required to undertake a trial day.
