Position: Syndicate Accountant
Location: City of London
Salary: £45000 - £65000 per annum
Job Type: Full Time
The company client is a prestigious organisation based in the City who are currently seeking to take on board a new Syndicate Accountant to join their vibrant team. This position will be around 50% focused on the company's regulatory reporting including QMA's and QMB's, and 50% on Group reporting, including analytical review of revenue, reinsurance analysis, and setting ultimate and earned gross/reinsurance premium.
Experience and skill set required for this job:
* The successful applicant will ideally be a qualified accountant, though the employer will consider people who are part-qualified or qualified by experience.
* The business would prefer candidates from an industry background within a syndicate reporting function, though auditors with strong Lloyd's knowledge may be considered.
* As a minimum candidates will have reporting knowledge including QMA's and QMB's, and they will be a positive influence on the team, particularly around coaching 2 junior assistants.
* They will have strong IT skills, including Excel, as they use some advanced systems which this person will need to be able to pick up.
