Our client is a world-leading metal recycling company. Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Group Engineer to join their team working across the Midlands.
If you are a production or operations engineering professional from a complex industrial machinery and process background, this is a superb opening in which to grow and develop your skills.
Joining a company at the forefront of metal recycling across the world, you’ll discover an international environment, advanced systems and complex machinery. So if a spanner is your teddy bear and an industrial layout your newspaper, this is the perfect role for you.
As a Group Engineer, you will provide reporting expertise for a range of project across the Midlands. You will primarily deal with maintenance, plant layout, design and installation projects that encompass a wide variety of engineering disciplines.
Primarily working at sites across the Midlands, you will also support projects across the UK and will seek to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally to enable project delivery.
You’ll be involved in process design and improvement activities, problem solving on a project-wide basis and will provide high level support for design activities.
Interested? To be considered, you must have:
- Previous experience in a similar production or operations environment with complex, industrial machinery and processes
- A full, valid driving licence
Using great problem solving skills and your in-depth knowledge, as a Group Engineer, you’ll possess exceptional team working capabilities, strong communication skills and the ability to develop strong, robust working relationships.
Ideal candidates will have a foundation in maintenance management but more important will be your process improvement, site layout, equipment installation and design knowledge.
