Find A Better Way was founded by Sir Bobby Charlton following a visit to Cambodia in 2008. During his visit he witnessed the impact and terrible suffering that landmines were having on communities. Realising that landmines continue to kill and maim children, women and men long after the conflicts were over, he was determined he would raise support to speed up the process of clearance through funding research into new detection technologies, better prosthetics for those who have lost limbs and mine risk education projects for those living with the threat from landmines.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Knutsford based charity Find A Better Way.

Fundraising Manager

The successful candidate will develop and manage the fundraising team reporting to the Head of Operations. It is expected that the candidate will have experience in both corporate and public fundraising as well as raising income from trusts and foundations. Experience in creating and updating a donor database is an important part of this position. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential attributes for this role. Social media experience would also be advantageous. The candidate will have a proven record of securing funding at £1m + by nurturing and growing relationships with donors and supporters.

A Competitive Salary depending on experience plus charity pension scheme available.
