This company is one of the leading independent specialists delivering cyber security consultancy services. As the Company continues to expand into new markets, they are seeking an ambitious trainee sales executive.

A willingness to learn, ability to thrive under pressure and bags of enthusiasm and resilience are the keys to success in this role. They are offering a unique pathway role to grow your career within the business - you will receive full 'on the job' training and support, and learn the business from a hands on perspective, whilst being supported by their experienced sales team. Their sales people earn, on average, in excess of £65,000 per annum.

This is a trainee sales role leading to responsibility for generating new business and consultancy opportunities by identifying and closing leads that are self-generated. You will work closely with the sales team to hit and exceed sales targets, growing and developing their customer base, as well as increasing recurring revenue.

Your responsibilities will involve:
- Developing new business - lead chasing and building your own portfolio of contacts
- Converting inbound inquiries into sales
- Working with the sales team to sell to new and existing customers
- Build creative proposals and presentations
- Marketing activities and attendance at networking events to aid business development
- Maintain day to day responsibility for the scheduling of IT testing activities and liaising with suppliers
- Account management.

Specific Job Skills & Attributes:
- Education (minimum of A* - C GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths)
- IT literate & proficient in use of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, & Excel
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the work place
- Have a strong personality, energy and enthusiasm
- Be passionate about sales within the business environment
- Be highly self-motivated with an ambitious attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic approach
- Confident in your ability and able to establish and build rapport with others
- Good communication, administration & written skills
- Good organisational and workload management skills
- Reliable, determined & diligent.

Desirable Job Skills:
- Knowledge/ background in IT or cyber security
- Degree in Business or Information Security
- Proven track record in selling is desirable but not essential; candidates without specific sales experience will be expected to demonstrate an aptitude for the role
- Account management experience.
