The company client is a well known fast- growing beauty brand who are actively seeking to recruit a highly ambitious and dynamic Head of Operations for their vibrant organisation based in London.This position is an all-encompassing role managing the end to end supply chain including purchasing, supply chain, demand planning, S&OP, shipping and 3PL management. This is a unique opportunity to join a widely respected brand in a period of fast paced change.
Job summary:
* The successful individual will manage 5 direct reports to ensure OTIF delivery to the internal warehouse and customers warehouses using SAP.
* The role holder will also be responsible for the continuing operations and growth from the London HQ.
Major duties for this role will involve:
* Managing the end-to-end supply chain from planning and purchasing through to OTIF delivery and in the UK
* Leading and managing the supply chain team
* Responsibility for office management and operations
* Demand planning and forecasting using SAP
* Increase OTIF levels and optimise inventory across the network
* Lead the S&OP strategy
* Collaboration with suppliers - developing and maintaining excellent supplier relationships.
* Interface with NPD and Sales
* Helping to set strategic direction for distribution across the UK, and delivering business plan.
* Interfacing with the manufacturing, 3PL and Warehouses
* Setting the best practice in supply chain in the region
* Continuous improvement regarding systems and potential systems implementation
* Delivering financial P&L and inventory results in line with company objectives, including freight cost savings, delivery and installation savings
* Liaise with factories in the Far East, Europe, and UK
Experience and abilities required:
* Degree Educated or equivalent
* A strong understanding of Beauty/Fashion supply chains with at least 5 years+ experience
* Line management experience of direct teams and distributors
* SAP experience is desirable
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* Customer focused - experience of working collaboratively with key retail customers
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
