About the Pub -

The Gatehouse Hungry Horse is an absolutely tremendous restaurant business in a prime retail location in North Wolverhampton. The site is coming up to its 4th anniversary of being built and as such the site and kitchen is custom designed to deliver our fantastic Hungry Horse menu. The kitchen team are well established and will benefit from clear leadership from an experience Kitchen Manager. Within the branded area there is great support and potential to develop yourself and your team. The potential to grow this restaurant business is huge and the leader of the kitchen team will therefore be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual. Attention to detail with high personal standards and ability to take ownership and inspire others is essential. The reward is a strong salary and high bonus potential.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to manage the opening and closing of the kitchen, prepare, cook and present food to company specification, keep the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all times, maintain accurate food ordering and stocking levels, including kitchen materials, manage all kitchen - related office administration and third-party contractors, assist in delivering financial targets set for the house, manage wastage and train and develop staff.
