This company is a leading contractor specialising in the full refurbishment of commercial washrooms. This includes the supply and installation of washroom related products and materials, such as toilet cubicles, IPS panelling systems and vanity units, to commercial organisations throughout the South of the UK. Due to continued success and as part of their planned growth a need exists for sub-contractors with carpentry experience for regular work throughout the remainder of 2016 and into 2017.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the purpose of the roles is to provide specialist toilet cubicle systems installation support and general carpentry expertise to washroom refurbishment projects. Their clients are generally end users and include schools, offices, theme parks, and other commercial buildings requiring washroom upgrades.

Duties will be predominantly the installation of toilet cubicles, vanity units and IPS panelling systems. Training will be given with regards the cubicle systems used, however previous experience in cubicle installation is advantageous.

The nature of the work will also require a need for more general experience, including strip out of washrooms, first/second fix carpentry etc. Other more general skills are useful and as such a multi trade background would be advantageous.

Working within a young and friendly team duties will include:
- Strip out and preparation of washrooms
- Installation of toilet cubicle systems, including IPS panels, vanity units etc.
- General carpentry on site as necessary (first and second fix)
- Arranging and taking delivery of materials
- Liaising and coordinating with sub-contractor trades

Carpentry qualifications are expected (but not essential) along with relevant general trade experience, ideally gained working on small commercial site locations. Knowledge and skills in other trades is highly advantageous.

The role will involve regular liaison and contact with clients, end users and colleagues, as such excellent personal presentation and communication skills is required.

Their locations of work extend throughout the South of the UK, predominantly Dorset/Hampshire and surrounding counties. As such applicants should ideally be based locally to Dorset/Hampshire and be willing to accommodate moderate travel.

A current & valid driving licence and own van is essential along with your own 110v tools. Skilled CSCS carpentry and joinery is advantageous but not essential. CIS required, although they are happy to assist in gaining and setting this up.

Pay: £17.00 - 20.00 per hour depending on experience. Individuals or small teams considered.
