Administration Assistant
Chesham, Buckinghamshire (HP5)
Part-time 20- 25 hours

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Administration Assistant to join their busy, modern office based in Chesham.

Main duties include, but are not limited to, the following;

  • Day to day general administrative and reception duties
  • Adhoc tasks and projects as required by the Directors and Finance Manager
  • Ordering goods and making bookings
  • Preparing risk assessments, method statements and various supporting documents for client installations
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients for issues or enquiries
  • Management of the company's social media activity
  • Weekly maintenance of our health and safety policies
  • Organising induction programmes for new employees
  • Handling staff recruitment including advertising, contracts and induction programmes
  • Ongoing staff administration such as holiday records, training and staff performance and maintenance of personnel records

Candidates with the following attributes will be preferred;

  • Highly organised and a good multi-tasker
  • Adaptable and able to manage a wide variety of tasks
  • Self-motivated with a 'can do' and helpful attitude
  • Placid and easy-going, with experience of a construction-related environment
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably Sage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary / hourly rate negotiable

Holiday allowance - 4 weeks plus bank holidays
