Our company client is a reputable FTSE100 Financial Services business who are now in a period of internal change and restructuring. They are currently seeking to recruit a highly skilled and fast paced Financial Controls Manager to join their FRCF team office based in Yorkshire.This is an outstanding opportunity to develop audit skills and techniques within an innovative organisation.

Major duties will involve the following:

* Challenge current established financial reporting control and improve them to achieve the group requirements
* Act as key point of contact for financial controls and process owners through the organisation to optimise controls and processes.
* Communicate business changes to key stakeholders, auditors (internal and external) and other teams within the organisation.
* Risk Assessment on financial controls and processes.
* Testing current and new financial controls and processes

Background and abilities required:

* Qualified Accountant with significant PQE experience
* Experience within a similar role in Financial Services
* Experience working with Sarbanes Oxley Controls
* Experience working, IFRS and Solvency II reporting.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to work under pressure.
