SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant with a genuine passion for helping children with additional needs overcome barriers to learning. We are looking for an experienced person to help support the current team during holiday and sickness cover and staffing gaps. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an 'outstanding' SEN shool, in a role that will provide a strong base on which to build your career within education.

We are looking for candidates with
Previous experience within a mainstream school, early years setting or with children with additional needs
Some knowledge and experience of Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication skills
Availability at least 3 or more days per week

You will be required to support children with a variety of special educational needs, including; ASD, Asperger's, SEMH, and with profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will need to be prepared to work with children within a group and on a 1:1 basis, building good relationships with both students and staff.
