Electrical maintenance eng

Due to internal movements we are recruiting for a qualified  Electrical Maintenance Technician within our process facility in Corby. Whilst on shift, the role of the Technician will be to undertake all electrical responsibilities. You will be working on three phase supplies, motors, inverters, brake units and HV switching and be expected to provide full electrical cover from rewiring motors to interrogating the PLCs (programming will not be required).

The electrician will also be responsible for electrically servicing and repairing machinery and components such as motors and pumps. The hours will be 08:00 and 17:00.

We are looking for electricians who have a recognised electrical apprenticeship with 16th or 17th Edition qualifications. With experience in three phase systems, motors and electrical repairs, you will ideally have experience with inverters and brake units. HV switching experience would be beneficial. Candidates must have experience of implementing electrical planned maintenance routines, instrumentation calibrations and breakdown repairs.

Experience of working in a heavy engineering environment would be benificial although not essential.
