Warehouse Shift Supervisor

This is an opportunity to join a well established eCommerce Fulfilment company growing 30% year on year. The warehouse is based in Aintree, Liverpool.

They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Shift Supervisor to work in a busy pick/pack e-commerce warehouse operation.

Only candidates with minimum 12 months previous supervisory or managerial experience will be considered.

The Warehouse Shift Supervisor must be able to manage a team of 5 to 10 staff, manage and follow existing processes and make sure all KPIs are met, or exceeded.

You must have relevant experience in one of the following sectors: Warehousing, Logistics, Pick & Pack and eCommerce Fulfilment.

Description

The Warehouse Shift Supervisor will:

- Liaise with suppliers, transport companies and customers.
- Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, purchase order reconcile, put away, pick & pack and dispatch of goods
- Ensure H&S procedures are followed
- Co-ordinate the use of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Resource planning
- Produce regular reports and statistics on a weekly basis
- Monitor staff performance and performance reviews.
- Maintain KPI''s
- Champion stock control efficiency across the business
- Get 'hands on' to get orders out on time

Profile

The Ideal Warehouse Shift Supervisor will:

- Have experience in pick and pack B2C/B2B fulfilment.
- Meet carrier deadlines and ensure orders are fulfilled before deadlines for each carrier.
- Be able to plan and organise colleagues in order to meet productivity targets.
- Be flexible in regards to shift patterns and willing to extend hours during Peak (EG xmas)
- Be positive and enthusiastic
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Be able to respond and cope with business change as the business begins a huge growth strategy.

Work Pattern

Full Time
The shifts will be 4 days per week.
Typical hours will be 7am to 6pm (10 hour shift + 1 hour lunch)
£18-21k depending on experience.
