Internal Sales Administrator
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Salary: £15,000 - £18,000

We are looking for a permanent Internal Sales Administrator. We are an Industrial Automation Distributor who supplies Industrial Automation equipment primarily to the Manufacturing sector. You will need a minimum of two years administration experience preferably within a Manufacturing / Distribution environment.

This Internal Sales Administrator role is a full time, permanent position. Working hours are 7.5 hours each day to be taken between 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive, flexible attitude. Knowledge of electrical wholesale and previous experience within a similar administration position would be an advantage but not entirely necessary.

We are looking for someone who is confident, has good communication skills and can be a good team player. The ideal candidate must be proficient in MS Word and Excel, be able to work under pressure and use their own initiative and be happy to input information into in-house system. Full training is given, although you must have a proven background in administration and be well organised.

The Internal Sales Administrator will join the existing internal sales team and will report to the Sales Supervisor.

Responsibilities include;
- Pro-active telesales/campaigns based around our catalogue portfolio
- Daily progressing/updating of all outstanding quotations
- Taking and managing incoming sales orders, quotations and enquiries
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between customers/suppliers/visitors/
- Support of internal and external sales team
- General administration duties including letters, filing, faxing, photocopying etc.
- Data entry (manage, organise and update relevant data using database applications)
- Receiving calls and dealing with queries within returns division
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.

Skills and experience required;
- Excellent administration and customer service experience.
- Intermediate to Advanced IT Skills including Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to prioritise and take responsibility for workload in order to maximise customer experience.
- Good time management skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
