Job title: Maintenance Shift engineer

Location: Team Valley, Gateshead

Shifts: Morning (6am to 2pm), Afternoon (2pm to 10pm) and Nights (10pm to 6am)

Shift Allowance: Overtime double time bank holidays and Sundays and 1.5 on Saturdays.

Salary: £31,865 for currently 3 shifts

Benefits: Paid for 40 hours but only work 35 hours as all breaks are paid, 25 days holiday plus statuary

Main Duties

As Maintenance Shift Engineer you will be required but not limited to; reactive maintenance on either plant equipment or facilities maintenance which would include troubleshooting and resolving the issue to minimise production down time. You would then look at the daily, monthly, quarterly and annual pre planned maintenance (PPM) and facilities maintenance when required. This position will require you to get involved with any projects that are taking place and to manage any contractors that come on site.
