Web Developer

Web developer required to fill full-time position in Harrogate. Salary range £25-40k (negotiable based on experience).

This provider of bespoke software and consultancy currently has an opening for a Full-stack Web Developer (json, html, xml, IIS, .NET, SQL, CSS). The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing high performance web applications and demonstrate an understanding of the full technology stack used in delivery of applications and services.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and developing existing / developing new front end web applications and web services
- Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
- Coding with appropriate development frameworks, JSON/JavaScript, HTML/XML and CSS
- Collaborating with the in-house team, external developers and third parties for development of applications and services

Required Skills:
- Proven track record in developing high performance web based applications using responsive web application frameworks
- Proficiency with JSON/JavaScript, HTML/XML and CSS
- Knowledge of practices and commonly used modules for web application frameworks based on extensive work experience
- Strong relational database experience and development using SQL Server 2008 or newer
- Thorough understanding of the end to end platform, including database, API's, web server (IIS) and other web services used for application delivery
- Professional, precise communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
