We are looking for a Legal Secretary to provide a high quality administration service to our clients firm and its fee earners.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, organisational, verbal and written communication skills and have experience of providing a high quality administration service and good office skills to include use of Word and Microsoft office. The ability to carry out multiple and varied tasks in their busy office is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Document production including formatting and amendment
Maintenance of files
Audio typing using digital dictation system
Responding to client calls and emails
Diary management
Telephone and reception cover to include taking messages, carrying out money laundering and conflict checks
Use of document management system for tracking and storing documents for which training will be provided
Any other administrative duties as required commensurate with level of post

Experience of working in a professional or legal services environment is preferred but not essential. Candidates with good secretarial skills who have not worked previously in a law firm may be considered. They are a small specialist family law practice based in Altrincham and it is important that they find the right new team member. They are therefore willing to provide further training for the right person if this is needed.
