Business Development Manager key responsibilities:
- Acting as a single point of contact for your customers, actively and professionally seeking new opportunities
- Aware of all areas of our business validating sales opportunities and resolving all enquiries at first point of contact
- Co-ordinate handover of new clients with our Client Services Manager
- Consistently work and deliver the company ethos and branding
- Making appointments for field sales
- Pro-actively grow your sales pipeline and win new customers through expanding on existing business leads and generating your own business opportunities
- Working with Marketing: building and maintaining mail shots & Social media
- Achieve or exceed monthly/Weekly targets as defined offered or advised by your line manager
- A proven track record and successful career in high level business to business sales is essential
- Must have at least five years’ sales experience and be an overachiever against documented targets
- IT and systems understanding is key, particularly a knowledge of system integrations and data transfer
- Knowledge of call centre and fulfilment markets would be advantageous including an understanding of technology and integration methods
- First rate people skills with the ability to adapt message and style to the needs of the recipient
